SEAOD SBR Decanter

TSL has just published a detailed brochure on our newly developed SBR Decanter system, under the trade name of SEAOD (Solids Excluding Air Operated Decanter). This is now available on the website (download section).
The system has been successfully retrofitted to a number of STW’s, where it has dramatically improved plant operation and effluent quality. It is currently being installed in 3No. new STW’s being built for a Local authority.
The system only requires a compressed air supply and combines the benefits of floating and mechanically driven decanters. There are no moving mechanical parts in the decanter.
The decanter floats on the surface of the liquid with its immersion controlled by air being pumped into or exhausted from special floats. During the decant phase the unit sits low in the liquid and clarified effluent is drawn off from below the surface ensuring no solids are discharged.
